“From start to finish, Milk and Honey was the absolute best place I could have possibly gotten a dress from. The day I walked into their shop for the first time, I didn’t even have an appointment. I was frustrated because other dress places just hadn’t had what I needed, and I was unsure whether I’d ever be able to find my perfect dress. Despite all this, Brooke welcomed us with open arms and helped me try on dresses until I found the one I fell in love with. It wasn’t even until after leaving the salon that I learned we’d stayed almost an hour past closing- the owners were so passionate about helping me find the perfect dress that I had no clue! They were knowledgeable, genuine, and were so sweet to both me and the people I brought with me. Each time we returned for fittings we were treated so graciously. Then, when my April wedding was pushed back due to COVID-19, Diane even called to see how I was doing and ask if there was anything she or Brooke could do to make the rescheduling process easier! “I live in the DC Metro area and traveled to the Hampton Roads area to try on bridal dresses because my family is there locally. I wanted them to be able to participate in the whole experience. I was recommended to the Milk and Honey Bridal shop and was so glad I found my way there. Brooke and Diane are absolutely wonderful to work with. They are so kind, gracious, and accommodating. Their personal touches of excellent customer service shined through from the start to the finish with the whole process. I was able to have my alteration appointments done on site and they even allowed me to bring my mother in (visiting from out of state) to see me in the sample dress at a later date. I purchased my veil, my head piece, necklace, and earrings from a jeweler their shop works with as well. Everything was so perfect. I love love love the dress they helped me find. I was very nervous about ordering a dress during a pandemic and they were calm and confident the entire time – which helped put me at ease. “Wonderful wedding dress boutique! I was nervous about being able to find my perfect dress. Walking in I thought I wanted a specific style, I showed Brooke a few photos and she pulled the similar styles based off of what I showed her. After trying on a few of those styles, I was not in love with any of them. So Brooke pulled a few that she thought would look great on me. She was right! I fell in love with one of the dresses she picked out for me. It’s really true when they say go in with an open mind and trust your stylist. Brooke is so sweet and fun to work with! “I came to Milk and Honey bride in search a perfect curvy wedding dress and I was not disappointed! Originally, I came in with my maid of honor to look at dresses as my mom and family live across the country. Right when I walked in the door, Brooke made me feel welcome and comfortable. We tried on several different styles of dresses so that we could narrow down what silhouette and style I was looking for. We finally found something that I loved but I really wanted to add sleeves. She pulled out lots of options for me to try and when I left that day I felt very good about what options I had. I came back later after she told me she had some new items to try and I absolutely fell in love with my ensemble. I’m fairly indecisive and I did most of my decision making without family or friends so the process took me a few visits.
